These fairs/festivals are of historical, cultural and economic importance as they play a vital role in the life of local people.

    Please add in detail, because they asks those things , which are not easily available to students,

    So requesting you to do detailed analysis, that will be helpful.
    Give you the example of Half festival. They have asked in one exam.

    Mata Mansa Devi Mela of Dharampur in Solan district,
    Lohri Mela of Gram Panchayat Piplu as District level Fairs.
    • 7 March – State level status to Jogindernagar fair of Mandi district.
    • 16 sept – Yamuna Sharad Mahotsav, Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur district as State level Fair.
    • 3 Oct – Junga Dussehra Fair of Shimla district as District level fair.
