Kullu Dussehra festival begins:
- The week-long International Kullu Dussehra festival commenced with traditional fervour at Dhalpur ground.
- Governor Bandaru Dattatraya inaugurated the festival by participating in the Rathyatra of Lord Raghunath.
- More than 331 deities from various parts of Kullu district are participating in this festival.
Justice Lingappa Narayana Swamy sworn in as Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court:
- He was administered the oath of office by Governor Bandaru Dattatraya.
- He succeeded Justice V. Ramasubramanian.
- He sworn-in as the 25th Chief justice of H.P High Court.
- He belongs to the state of Karnataka.
CM to launch special campaign against drug abuse: [HAS Mains]
- A holistic campaign to eradicate drug abuse from State will be launched by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on 15th November 2019.
- An effective and prominent action towards drug abuse would be taken by the line departments in the campaign manner from 15th November to 15th December 2019 in the entire State.
- Social Justice and Empowerment Department has been appointed as the nodal department for this special campaign and all line departments must work in a coordinated manner for successful implementation of the campaign.
हिमाचल प्रदेश साप्ताहिक करंट अफेयर्स:
कुल्लू दशहरा उत्सव हुआ शुरू:
- सप्ताह भर चलने वाला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कुल्लू दशहरा उत्सव ढालपुर मैदान में पारंपरिक उत्साह के साथ शुरू हुआ।
- राज्यपाल बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने भगवान रघुनाथ की रथयात्रा में भाग लेकर महोत्सव का उद्घाटन किया।
- इस महोत्सव में कुल्लू जिले के विभिन्न हिस्सों के 331 से अधिक देवता भाग ले रहे हैं।
न्यायमूर्ति लिंगप्पा नारायण स्वामी ने हिमाचल प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली:
- उन्हें राज्यपाल बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई।
- उन्होंने न्यायमूर्ति वी. रामसुब्रमण्यन का स्थान लिया।
- उन्होंने H.P उच्च न्यायालय के 25 वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली।
- वह कर्नाटक राज्य से संबंध रखते हैं।
नशाखोरी के खिलाफ सीएम ने शुरू किया विशेष अभियान:
- 15 नवंबर 2019 को मुख्यमंत्री जय राम ठाकुर द्वारा राज्य से मादक पदार्थों के उन्मूलन के लिए एक समग्र अभियान शुरू किया जाएगा।
- पूरे राज्य में 15 नवंबर से 15 दिसंबर 2019 तक अभियान तरीके से मादक पदार्थों के सेवन की दिशा में एक प्रभावी और प्रमुख कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
- इस विशेष अभियान के लिए सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता विभाग को नोडल विभाग के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है और सभी लाइन विभागों को अभियान के सफल कार्यान्वयन के लिए समन्वित तरीके से काम करने को कहा गया है।
