I am agree with your opinion. Commission should atleast postponed this exam 2-3 weeks. Situation is not getting any better and according to 36 countries’ scientists this virus can contract through air also so this is not an appropriate time to conduct the exam. When every other exam is postponed then why not this? Commission is citing the example of less strength but approximately 800 students in every examination centre is not a small amount. 800 students + their parents is a large amount during this pandemic.

Have you heard about PPE kit scam in Himachal. The incident itself shows the mentality of Bureaucrats and the Politicians. Everyone is busy in profit making in this pandemic time.
Interview or other exams are one day exam Sir. For this exam people like me have to stay for at least two nights and two days and truthfully speaking I don’t know where I am going to stay. The relatives with whom I used to stay has clearly said no for this time, where should I go now, I already tried calling some hotels through google but their charge is too much that I also have to sell my cow to afford it.
In Delhi cost of Corona treatment amounted around 1 Lakh Rupees per day in private hospitals. I have stopped believing in official numbers long ago and now it seems that efforts of Government are also fading out as people are left on their own in ill managed unlock. Government has done nothing in Lockdown as far as Corona preparation is concerned and it is also doing nothing in unlock periiod. Please have a look at condition of Bihar at this time.
In Himachal there is only one helicopter and that is made available for an emergency in tribal areas only on the wish of politicians, for the rest of the time it is occupied by Political tours and Sir, you are talking about special buses.
The only reason commission is going to conduct this exam is to be number one in country to do so, no matter what price candidates have to pay. This Government is obsessed with being number one in country where ever it can.
Today I went to get my admit card printed and I have to pay 50 rupees for a single side single page print and you are talking about putting cap on motels and hotels. Bhai sidha bol rahe hain karwana hai to karwao nahin to jao jahan marji shikayat karo.
I am worried where Covid is going but I am much worried where humanity is going.

The Corona is not going away any time soon, people have to learn to live with it while maintaining basic precaustions.
Government can not continue to postpone the exams, UPSC SSB interviews have been resumed (and they are at all India level, there is risk in that too but someone has to bite the bullet ) how long are we going to wait , it will only get worse with each passing day.
The density of of Himachal is far less than Delhi (and many other Indian states) but now the situation is improving in Delhi after a short spike , Delhi has resumed normal services and people are following basic precautions.
If Commission has decided to conduct exam it must play a proactive role in ensuring the safety and providing basic amenities , the travelling issue can be sorted through special buses and government can put a cap on pricing in motels or rooms required by students for overnight stay. If there is a will there is a way provided students and Commiosn are on the same page.
Covid is not going anywhere any time soon, how long are we going to sit in our homes? People have to adapt to this changed reality.

All points are apt and true this is the main situation from which many aspirants like us suffering and our govt and hp commission is putting their sweat in turning this adversity into opportunity which is irony for us.

I agree with hp general studies and even I wrote mails many times to hppsc but their is no positive response from them instead they issued admit cards. Main problem is where we will stay during exam and is their any guarantee that we will not contract to this virus. Their is also a difficulty during commute from other state to centre shimla. So please every candidate wrote mail every day so that our issue comes in front of slumbering HP Commission and Government.
