Transport Nagar to be established at Hamirpur: [Prelims]
- A Transport Nagar would be established at Hamirpur.
- This centre would have various facilities such as driving test track, driving training centres, traffic park and vehicle maintenance park etc.
- Drive testing and training in this Nagar would be managed by Original Equipment Manufacturers.
Atal tunnel would be dedicated to the people by September:
- Atal tunnel would be completed by the end of August this year and Prime Minister would dedicate this project to the people of the country probably during the month of September.
Rs. 9.64 crore distributed under Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Srijan programme:
- In the year 2019-20 Rs. 9.64 crore has been distributed to 327 beneficiaries for setting up of village industries and micro-units under Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Srijan programme by Himachal Pradesh Khadi Village Industry Board, which created employment for more than 2600 people.
- Under this scheme with an expenditure of Rs. 10.93 crore a target of setting up 364 units in the year 2020-21 has been fixed.
