Himachal Pradesh Weekly Current Affairs:

HP signs agreement with Delhi government for selling Yamuna water:

• The agreement for sale of a share of Yamuna river water of Himachal Pradesh to the Delhi government was signed at New Delhi between the two governments.
• As per a multi-state agreement signed in 1994, Himachal Pradesh gets a three percent share of Yamuna water.
• This share remained unclaimed since 1994.
• It was on the request of the Delhi government that the Himachal cabinet decided to sell a share of Himachal Pradesh to Delhi. As a result, the Himachal government will get Rs. 21 crore per annum.

Pink Raj won a bronze medal in 48 kg Sanda event in Macau:

• Pink Raj of Seraj of Mandi district won a bronze medal in 48 kg Sanda event in 8^th Macau International Kung Fu Championship held at Forum De Macau, China from 21 July to 25^th July, 2019.
