The Indian Army will soon update the Indian Army CEE Exam Syllabus along with the official notification to be released by the same. The candidates must be aware of the Indian Army CEE Syllabus and exam pattern to prepare diligently. The Indian Army Common Entrance Examination (CEE) recruits candidates for various posts, such as Indian Soldier General Duty and Clerk, Indian Soldier Tradesman. Understanding the Indian Army GD CEE syllabus will help the candidates in covering up each topic and not miss out on anything.

  • The candidates have to undergo three stages of selection, i.e, Physical Fitness Test, a medical examination, and a written test.
  • Preparing as per the CEE exam pattern will help the candidates to prepare according to the weightage given to each section or subject.

Indian Army CEE 2021 Syllabus

The Indian Army GD CEE syllabus and the syllabus for Tradesman is similar. The Syllabus of the Soldier Clerk is similar but also has Computer Science and English subjects in addition. The below tables show the detailed syllabus for all the posts under CEE.

  • Heights and Distances:

Solution of simple problems of height and distance using trigonometric tables and logarithmic tables.

Geometry

  • Lines and Angles:

Different characteristics of lines and angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, inserting lines, some of angles and triangles, interior and exterior angles. Triangles-properties, equality, congruence and similarity with respect to sides and angles. Parallelogram-types and properties. Circles – Properties, arc, chords, tangents, secants and angles subtended by arcs.

Indian Army CEE Exam Pattern 2021

The selection process of the Indian Army CEE Exam for various posts is the same. There are three major rounds in the selection process. They are as follows.

  • Physical Fitness Test at the Rally Site
  • Medical Test
  • Written Test

The qualifying marks for the Written Test is 32. The candidates who fail to achieve a minimum of 32 marks will not be selected for the further stages. The exam pattern for all the posts is detailed below:

Soldier Clerk 

  • For every right answer, the candidate will get 4 marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks.
