District Mandi Highlights of 2011 Census – Himachal Pradesh

Mandi has 7th rank in terms of literacy among all the district of state. The literacy rate of the district is 81.5 percent in comparison to the state average of 82.8 percent.

Mandi tehsil has the highest rural population while Sandhol sub-tehsil has the lowest rural population in the district.

Lad Bharol tehsil has the highest sex-ratio while Bali Chowki sub-tehsil has the lowest sex-ratio in the district.
