Eligible Candidates: All candidates irrespective of income and caste to all Bonafide Himachalis
One Time Assistance: Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty Thousand Rupees Only)
Criteria: For all those students/candidates who qualify the preliminary examination for Civil Services conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
The money under the scheme will be given directly to the candidate and it should be left open to him to choose the coaching Institute as per his own requirement.
The purpose of assistance is to give incentives/awards to the candidate and not to the Institute. The scheme will take effect from 1-4-2015.
The guidelines for the regulation/implementation of this scheme are as under:
1. All the eligible candidates will have to apply on the Prescribed Proforma as per Annexure “A” along with qualifying/Selection proof directly to the Director, SC, OBCs & Minority Affairs, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.
2. In case of any dispute, the Director, SC, OBCs & Minority Affairs, Himachal Pradesh will decide all the matters/issues. However, any person aggrieved with the decision of Director, SC, OBCs & Minority Affairs, Himachal Pradesh may file an appeal before the Secretary (Social Justice & Empowerment) Himachal Pradesh within 45 days of the decision.
