  • From 1928 to 1934, he was sent for six-year jail for involvement in ‘Lahore Conspiracy‘.
  • He also participated in the ‘Quit India Movement‘ in 1942 and was arrested for three years from 1942-45.
  • In ‘Quit Kashmir‘ movement 1945-47, he was jailed for two years six months.
  • In all, he was in jail for 11 and a half years.
